Stunning Traditional Turkish and English Wedding

The most unique part of Jennifer and Emrah’s wedding was the beautiful combination of their different cultures.

“My husband’s background is Turkish while mine is English. We had a few Turkish traditions – money pinning, drums and Turkish music.”

With a classic English wedding ceremony and a festive Turkish reception, the happy couple incorporated their own traditions flawlessly.

The stunning ceremony on a beachside cliff in Wollongong, combined with the glamorous reception, created a gorgeous wedding. With a white, black and gold theme, the couple was overjoyed with the magical look of their dream wedding.

“It was so amazing watching our families come together under one roof and celebrating our wedding with both cultures.”

However, the funniest moment of the wedding was when Emrah was running late to the ceremony.

“My bridesmaids, Dad and I were in the limo driving up Mount Ousley to our ceremony at Panorama House, when all of a suddenly we see the groom’s car pass us on the highway … luckily enough, they saw our limo and hit the accelerator.”

Thankfully, both parties made it on time! Their wedding ceremony was small and filled with their closest family and friends, all of which shared in their love for the bride and groom.

The ceremony was so moving that Emrah even shed a few tears at the sight of his beautiful bride.
