Real Wedding: A Entertaining Greek Wedding in Sydney

With the majority of their guests flying to Sydney to join their wedding celebrations, Ben and Chloe wanted to make it an affair to remember!

A day before the wedding a party was thrown at Watson’s Bay Hotel, which proved to be a great opportunity to mingle with guests and kick-start the celebration. The next day, a surprise Seaplane ride around the Sydney Harbour was planned by the bride and groom as a thank you to their bridal party for their on-going love and support.

The big day finally arrived at the St Mary Magdalene Catholic Church in Rose Bay. After an emotion-filled ceremony, coaches were organised to gather guests and escort them to the Empire Lounge (Sydney Seaplane terminal) for drinks.

The reception followed at the Catalina that was decked out in a beautiful classic and elegant theme. It was also laced with a green and white decorative colour scheme, complete with gold touches through the candles and cake. Given that Chloe carries a Greek heritage, her wedding inevitably turned into an entertainment palace! It wasn’t just a wedding, but also one huge party.

Wedded Wonderland asked the pair what their most memorable moments were and they responded, “It was amazing to look around and see the whole venue dancing and having a great time. Even our grandparents threw away their walking sticks and got into the Zorba!”
