You can assume being a professional dancer is a tough gig, but to be a dancer for Beyonce? On her World Tour? That’s exactly what Ferly was up to while planning her very own wedding! Though planning a wedding was proving to be an immense challenge, wedding planner Cali Nguyen lifted the weight off the pair’s shoulders, creating a spectacular setting for the couple and their guests. Choosing Monarch Beach Resort, California as their ultimate wedding destination, it was bound to be the perfect day.
Regi Davis, a close friend of the pair commenced the wedding ceremony with an unusual twist. Once Ferly and Jeff said their “I do’s”, he turned to guests and asked them to vow to help Ferly and Jeff succeed as a married couple, to show them support and guidance and to pray for them and their happiness. The crowd vowed with the words “I do” and the ceremony concluded. It was a beautiful and inspiration moment captured beautifully.
The reception followed, filled with unique lighting, one of which was a mystical purple that symbolized power, nobility, luxury and ambition. The night began with the pairs first danced choreographed of course by the talented bride! Next, Randal Keith, a renowned performer in Las Vegas, sang the couples favorite song “For Once in My Life” by Michael Buble. It was truly a magical moment that left family and friends stunned.
A family tribute then followed, with a change in lighting (blue) that symbolized health, healing, tranquility and understanding. Ferly created a family slideshow to play whilst they danced with their parents. Snippets of the family’s history played in the background, creating an emotional yet perfectly sentimental moment.
Next, the lighting changed to orange, symbolizing joy, enthusiasm, creativity and happiness – which of course you need for games! Once several games were played, the lighting changed to red, symbolizing romance, love and passion that also reflected the true essence of the night.
