Real Wedding: A contemporary Melbourne Wedding

Natalie and Adam’s dream Melbourne Wedding was an elegant affair!

The day began with a traditional mass at Xavier College Chapel, where Adam went to school, where their beautiful ceremony was complete with angelic singling by the Australian Boys Choir, followed by a contemporary reception at Luminare in South Melbourne.

“Adam and I always wanted our wedding to be simple yet elegant, we drew from the look of the New York loft styled venue with its gorgeous city skyline views, modern gold fixtures and deep blue velvet decor to inspire the rest of the choices we made.”

Reflecting back on their night, the couple told Wedded Wonderland, “The aesthetic along with the free flowing cocktails, fine dining and great music was a recipe for a perfect night and it met all our expectations plus more.

“In the lead up to our wedding we were given some advice which we held onto on the day, it was ‘pause for a moment to look around you and take in all the magic you have created’. Those words were ringing in our ears when all our guests were invited to join us to dance and sing to ‘Living on a Prayer’ as our last song. Young and old all our guests huddled around us while we sung at the top of our lungs, jumped up and down, and danced to the famous words of Bon Jovi. In this moment we felt completely overwhelmed by all the love that surrounded us.”

Be inspired, Fairies!
