Dressing for a red carpet event is tough at the best of times, but one Aussie actress just took her baby bump to the next level and blew everyone away.

Introducing Yvonne Strahovski – Australia’s only nominee at the Emmy Awards, for her role in The Handmaid’s Tale. 

Yvonne is proof that a baby bump doesn’t need to put a stop to your style. In fact, it may actually be one of the best accessories a girl can rock.

To make pregnancy dressing for the big occasions possible, it’s important to keep a few tips in mind.

• Plan ahead when picking a dress, because you need to know how far along you will be.
• Bare your bump with a figure-hugging dress. If you aren’t as confident at baring all, go for materials that aren’t stiff and that have a little bit of a stretch. Try an empire waist style.
• Stick to flats. There’s nothing worse than a swollen belly and swollen feet!
