This modern beauty was created for a very cool couple's wedding, @doctor.linda and @sharpyetblunt They wanted something extraordinary and abstract, to match their romantic/modern wedding organized by one of my favourite wedding planners and her team in Toronto, @petalsandpearls The most challenging part of this cake was putting lights inside the triangles to make it more shocking and impactful. Unfortunately I couldn't capture the lights on camera, it looked so amazing at the venue when the lights were turned off. Thankful for clients who challenge me to explore, invent and create ♥️ #modernart #blackandgold #gold #geodecake #square #squarecake #luxurywedding #torontowedding #art #contemporaryart #luxury #cakesofinstagram #cakesinstyle

The trend is solid gold! Gold accents in any shape or form is a strong wedding cake trend for 2019.

Spell out your love for each other with a letter cake. This cake is a new trend that is especially good for people who aren’t fond of fondant as these cakes are usually naked from icing.
