REAL WEDDING: VICTORIA & SAMUEL

There is nothing as sentimental and heart warming than seeing two families come together in celebration of two people in love.

When we received the images from Victoria and Samuel’s UK countryside wedding we knew it was going to be extra special. With the bride being a wedding planner, and the couple stemming from a Nigerian background, the presence of colour and tradition wasn’t something that was going to be lacking. It was apparent in every which way and absolutely magnificent.

The theme was vintage chic so everything from the decor to the invitations, right down to the bridesmaids gowns were all matching hues of soft pastel colours. A boho element was introduced with the bridesmaids wearing floral crowns made of ivory roses and baby’s breath. But the real show stopper and beauty of the day was the bride. Wearing a two piece Vera Wang gown with lace underlay for the ceremony which was later removed at the reception, we were blown away by her beauty and poise.

One of the stand out images from the whole wedding however, had to be the bride walking down the aisle surrounded by her family and friends and the vibrant colours that filled the church. The love was felt in every possible way and by all in the room.

And just when we were about to burst with emotion, this fun-loving couple showed us just how to party taking to the dance floor the second they arrived at their after party. The beautifully styled marquee was filled with pastel flowers, delicious sweets, and stylish accents. A must-see wedding we will always be grateful to have shared.
