REAL WEDDING: MARISA AND LORENZ

A truly beautiful wedding in the heart of Malibu. Beautiful couple Lorenz and Marisa come from different backgrounds and wanted their wedding to capture their cultural diversity. While Lorenz is of Swiss, Italian and Pakistani background, Marisa comes from Japanese and Indian background. Although the couple had quite a challenge ahead of themselves, the end result was nothing short of beautiful.

The bride wore a simply exquisite strapless lace gown by Lazaro couture, and complemented her dress with Jimmy Choo shoes and golden accessories including a headpiece, bangles and necklace by Bhindi Jewellers.

Their wedding was held at an extravagant private vineyard estate in the Malibu Hills, spoiling the guests with amazing mountain views. Wanting to emphasize their spectacular natural surroundings, the couple decided to keep the wedding colour theme simple, incorporating soft whites, blush and touches of champagne gold.

The intimate ceremony was held on the helipad of the estate with the Malibu hills as their stunning backdrop.
The bride walked down the aisle to the song “Mishma/Closing” by Philip Glass, a song which held a special sentiment to her heart. A big Metallica fan, Lorenz and his parents walked down the aisle to the quartet playing a string version of his favourite song “Fade to Black.”

The couple included a Generational Table at their wedding, which displayed wedding day pictures of their family members, going as far back as their great grandparents, displaying and eclectic mix of blended cultures.

The guests were served Indian food at the reception and danced the night away to Bhangra music, and the couple danced their first dance as husband and wife to the song “Luna” by the Smashing Pumpkins.

We can’t tear our eyes away from this truly stunning wedding.
