Held in a grand New York space filled with high ceilings, trompe l’oeil paintings, gilt-edged mouldings and antique chandeliers, Larina and Ben’s big day was a celebration fit for royalty.
The happy couple first met 10 years ago as teenagers in Mexico and have been inseparable ever since. Married on Valentine’s Day at The Pierre Hotel in the heart of the Big Apple, a venue known for its glitz and glamour, the day was a spectacular combination of New York spunk with the opulence of a Venetian ballroom.
Their 170 guests were met with resplendent table settings, gold-gilded crockery, antique lace linens and spectacular arrangements of white, cream and pale pink roses, styling which set the mood for the night.
Larina donned an exquisite off-the-shoulder Inbal Dror gown, complete with lace-embellished corset and long fishtail train. Like any princess, Larina finished her look with a pair of strappy, metallic Jimmy Choos and vintage diamond and pearl drop earrings.
When we spoke to the couple about their big day, they gushed that the wedding was everything they dreamed of and more; so I guess this prince and princess got a happy ending to their fairy-tale!
