Real Wedding: A Disney Inspired Boho Wedding

When we think ‘cross-fit gym’ we can naturally presume there’s going to be a lot of sweat, and maybe even some tears (not the happy kind!). But for Lissette and Alex, it was where their journey began. More specifically, it was where Alex’s dream catcher tattoo caught Lissette’s eye, forcing her to utter the words “hey, I like that tattoo”.

When describing the moment Alex proposed, Lissette could barely contain her excitement! She described it as the best moments of her entire life. Alex and Lissette define themselves as major Disney fans, so a weekend away at Disney was seemingly natural for the pair. After a long and inspiring day at the Magic Kingdom, the pair settled at the Polynesian resort to wine, dine, and watch the fireworks! Surely enough, during the fireworks Alex kneeled before Lissette and proclaimed his love for her! Of course after an exhilarating flood of emotions and tears, Lissette announced the word ‘YES’.

Fast-forward to their wedding day, the Georgia State Railroad Museum was the perfect reflection of the couple and of course Walt Disney’s love for trains. Lissette chose organic, earthy tones to run through the reception as natural greens flourished by the outdoor ceremony. A boho theme was also incorporated with a boho bus, dream catchers, tepees and breath-takingly unique bouquets.

The most memorable and heart-warming moment, as stated by Lissette was “when the doors opened right before I walked down the aisle, seeing Alex for the first time, I will never forget that feeling”.

“The most unique part, I would have to say our backdrop made by the most amazing wedding planners ever, ivory and beau..It was so special to have it as a memento of what joined us together in the first place”.
