Beginning his career in fashion more than 20 years ago with a small family business in his hometown of Beirut, George Hobeika has since become one of the world’s most sought after designers, with his gowns worn by the likes of Camila Alves, Julianne Hough and Sarah Hyland.
He is now renowned for his ability to create elegant and timeless pieces that exude femininity and his latest couture Spring/Summer 2015 collection, doesn’t stray from his signature style.
The gowns were reminiscent of a Parisian ballet school, with a colour palette of pastel pinks, muted blues, pale lemons and champagnes. The cinched waste, often adorned with butterflies, rosettes or bows, was a theme throughout and the delicate lace and chiffon fabrics kept the silhouette polished, but ethereal.
