An Intimate Rooftop Affair In Melbourne

A casual Sunday morning stroll along the beach turned into a wonderful surprise as David turned to Kristi and asked her to marry him – although it didn’t quite go as David had planned.

“He tried so hard to make it a private moment for us, but it didn’t work as passers-by yelled out ‘Congratulations!’” Kristi told us.

Much like the planned private proposal, David and Kristi planned an intimate March wedding for their nearest and dearest friends and family. The two married on the chic rooftop of The Emerson in Melbourne, followed by an outdoor lunch that was filled with pops of colour against the white table settings.

Adding a touch of quirkiness to their day were DIY shot glasses which read, “Have a shot we tied the knot.”

With love radiating from the happy couple and their guests, Kristi says the day was amazing.

“I remember sitting down for lunch and thinking, ‘Take a moment to look around.’ All of the smiling and laughing from our loved ones was all we wanted for our wedding day, and that’s what we got.”
