A Sri Lankan Bride And Armenian Groom Wed In LA

Sula met Alex at a Halloween party in 2009 where “he was dressed as a gorilla and stood on a roof banging on his chest! I was like who is this guy? I have to meet him! And the rest is history”.

When the time was right for the next chapter of their love journey, Alex popped the question to Sula at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. “He was acting a little nervous and more excited than usual, so I knew something was happening,” said Sula. “When it happened, it was magic!”

When it came down to wedding planning, the theme was timeless white with dashes of gold. Sula said, “I wanted it to feel heavenly, so we added white draping and carpet for that romantic touch throughout.”

Sula says she is left with amazing memories after her wedding. “Walking down the aisle to meet Alex for the first time as my husband and entering our venue as they announce us as husband and wife was an unbelievable feeling.”

Sula and Alex got to be bride and groom once more when they travelled to Sri Lanka a week later for their second wedding party!
