A Modern Wedding Against Melbourne’s Stunning Skyline

While on holiday in Positano, along the picturesque Amalfi Coast, Arthur asked Stephanie to marry him.

“I had asked Arthur to take a quick snippet of me with the gorgeous view of the sky and the ocean. As I turned back around after what I thought was a photo shoot, Arthur was on one knee and he then popped the big special question. Of course I said, ‘YES!’ I had waited 10 amazing years to hear that question!”

During the church ceremony, the pair were excited for a particular tradition where they have to step on each other’s foot as the priest reads out a certain blessing. The eagerness to beat each other ended with Stephanie losing her balance, but the pair laughed it off.

Taking a modern luxe approach to the theme, the wedding reception at Luminare made use of South Melbourne’s gorgeous city skyline, while the room was filled with candles and green and white florals.

Of the magical day, Stephanie said that there was one moment she’ll never forget.

“When I walked into the church and Arthur turned around to look at me and we just locked eyes. I smiled all down the aisle.”
