A CHIC MELBOURNE WEDDING

A forest pathway in the middle of the Dandenong Ranges illuminated by the gentle glow of tea light candles and adorned with fresh rose petals, leading into a beautiful opening with over 500 candles on the grass, was where Cameron planned an impossibly beautiful proposal for the love of his life, Antonette.

“There was a soft drizzle in the air that night and it somehow made everything look magical. As we approached the delightfully ornate table in the middle of the clearing set with strawberries and Moët, he presented me with a large white box. As I tunnelled to the bottom of the tissue paper I realized it was empty. I turned around to ask why and there he was – My best friend, the greatest man I have ever known, on one knee asking, “Will you give me the greatest honour of becoming my wife”? There was only one thing left to do, I knelt down in front of him and cried “yes”.’ So sweet!

This couple’s Wedding day was a true reflection of themselves, from the warmth of the venue, the spirit of the food, the soul of the music, the charm of the bridal party’s attire, it all came down to who they were as a couple.

Reflecting back on their Special Day, Bride Antonette told Wedded Wonderland one of the best moments of the day was seeing each other for the first time at the altar.

“It’s impossible to go past the moment we made eye contact for the first time. Cameron was unashamedly emotional. Tears streaming down his face as he tried to take me all in. He was completely moved by my presence. It was breathtaking to see a man so in love and know he is looking at you. I will hold that moment with me for the rest of my days.”
